# Hiding a section

Building sections for future promotions or sales events are helpful when your want to quickly execute the promotion or launch the event. Hiding sections is a helpful method that allows you to create new designs and layouts while the live store only shows currently active sections. 

Use the eye icon next to the section title to toggle the display of the entire section:

**Save** your changes after hiding or showing sections. 

> **Tip** - Blocks have their own eye icon, be sure to select the section eye icon to toggle display of the entire section.
