# Collection filtering

Story theme supports Shopify's Online Store 2.0 Product filtering for fast, customizable, and reliable collection filtering:

### How to setup

Setup is fast and simple. Using the Theme Editor, navigate to any collection page (or choose the default collection template) and click on **Collection page** to view the settings. Scroll towards the bottom and view the **Collection Sidebar** settings:

Ensure the checkbox for ***Enable filters*** is checked.

### Customizing filter options

Filter choices can be added from your store's Navigation admin:

Use Add filters to add available filter options:

For custom filter options like Band color and Face color, create a metafield and values to each of your products that apply.
